Punxsutawney Borough Police Chief Tom Fedigan announced that his department will kick off a pedestrian safety awareness and enforcement campaign beginning this week.

PUNXSUTAWNEY â€” Now that itâ€™s summer vacation time, the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club is inviting Punxsy Phil lovers to participate in a fun contest.
The contest, â€śPunxsutawney Philâ€™s Worldwide Adventures," will take Phil lovers and Phil on one fun journey.

Death of James R. Winslow
June 5, issue of the Daily Alert, Jamestown, North Dakota, contains an account of the death of James R. Winslow, a native of Punxsutawney, and son of the late Miller Winslow, who died a few years ago in California.
