There is such a thing as a free lunch: Once again, PAHS kicks off summer program for students 18 and under

The Free Lunch Program is underway once again for the summer.

Any child up to 18 years of age is welcome to come in and eat lunch for free from 11 a.m. to 1 p..m. Monday through Friday, now through Aug. 21, at the PAHS cafeteria.

Fireworks light up Walston sky

June 16, 2013

It may have been a bit chilly Saturday evening, but that didn't stop those from the Walston community and surrounding area from coming out to see fireworks sponsored by the Walston Club through the Walston Playground, where they were set off.

Members of the Walston Club said that the fireworks were being set off for the St. Anthony's weekend.

Carey Pyrotechnic artists were in charge of the fireworks.

KOC, CDA to hold blood drive Tuesday

The Knights of Columbus Council No. 452 and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) Court St. Rita No. 353 will sponsor a Red Cross bloodmobile at SS.C.D. on Tuesday from noon until 6 p.m.

All blood types are needed, and walk-ins are welcome.
