This Christmas, the town of Bethlehem in 0 A.D. will come to life at the Paradise United Church of Christ in Henderson Township during its annual Bethlehem Walk. Visitors will become players in the Christmas story as they become travelers in ancient Israel, arriving in Bethlehem for the census.
The Bethlehem Walk will be open from 7 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 7, 8 and 15 at the Paradise United Church of Christ Youth Center located at 4336 Big Run Prescottville Rd., Reynoldsville, Pa. There is no charge for admission, though donations will be taken for a to-be-determined cause.

BROOKVILLE â€” The Jefferson County commissioners approved a motion to place the 2014 budget on display for 20 days prior to adoption at their regular meeting on Tuesday.
The budget includes a half-mill tax increase.

PUNXSUTAWNEY â€” One local man is taking to the media and Internet â€” in addition to reaching out for help to anyone who will listen â€” in locating his missing dog.
For almost 10-1/2 weeks, Larry August, a local man who lives south of Punxsutawney, has been searching for his beloved dog.
Duke, a rust-colored miniature pinscher, went missing on Sept. 13, along with his pal, Cherokee.
There is currently a $500 reward for anyone who is able to bring Duke home.
