Competition, warm hearts lead to a big number in annual PAMS food drive

Students at the Punxsutawney Area Middle School are pictured loading up a vehicle with canned food items for an area food pantry after collecting a large number of items for their canned food drive this year.

SS.C.D. preparing for Christmas Bazaar

SS.C.D. will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

One hundred vendors will be set up and selling a variety of Christmas items.

Homemade sandwiches, vegetable soup and fresh-baked pies will also be available.

A nativity donated by Pam and Pat Defelice — in memory of their daughter, the late Brielle Nicole Defelice — will be raffled off.
