PUNXSUTAWNEY â€” For the 12th year in a row, Fox's Pizza Den in Punxsutawney on Saturday set another record for pizza and coupon card sales for Pizza and Prevention, with the proceeds going to the Punxsutawney Fire Department.
Scott Anthony, owner of Fox's Den in Punxsutawney, said that they sold 5,392 pizzas â€” which calculates to a little over $50,000 and includes $9.11 charged for each pizza or pizza coupon sold, including tips for one day of sales from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

At Fridayâ€™s game against Clarion-Limestone, the Punxsutawney Area High School cheerleaders sported their pink T-shirts which read, "Let's tackle this together" as a part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Arm Broken and Leg Dislocated
Mrs. Elizabeth Chambers, of this place, went to an inclosure last Sunday evening to untie her cow, which was tethered by a long rope.
As she did so the cow started to run and her feet became entangled in the rope, throwing her violently to the ground.
