Landon Neal and Leanne Zampini are kindergarten students in Judy Fetterman's kindergarten class at Jenks Hill Elementary School. PUNXSUTAWNEY — This Sunday, individuals with a passion for animals, a passion for running/walking — and especially those with passions for both — will have the opportunity to put their feet to the ground to help raise funds for and awareness of the Willow Run Sanctuary for Animals, owned by Margo Stefanic and Tommy Shaffer, in Coolspring.
The Fido 5K Walk/Run will take place Sunday at 1 p.m. on the Rails to Trails course, beginning near Richard L. Kuntz Memorial Field.
Sunday evening, Reynoldsville held its trick-or-treat after a 5 p.m. parade. Trick-or-treat is scheduled to take place in Punxsutawney and many surrounding townships this evening.
Punxsutawney will hold the Halloween Parade at 6 p.m. (The parade will form at NAPA Auto Parts on Union Street at 5:30 p.m.), and trick-or-treat will follow until 9 p.m.;
