Chief: Driver wouldn’t stop in 20-mile pursuit

BROOKVILLE — A Clarion woman is facing multiple charges after leading Brookville Borough Police on a nearly 20-mile pursuit Thursday afternoon along Route 322.

Police Chief Ken Dworek said the woman, who is in her mid-60s, initially did not stop for a traffic control detail along Route 322 around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

She faces charges of driving under suspension, reckless driving, attempting to elude police and multiple other traffic citations.
