PUNXSUTAWNEY — Road construction throughout the Borough of Punxsutawney could create some delays when classes resume in the Punxsutawney Area School Board, according to District Transportation Director Cheryl Repik.
Repik told the school board Wednesday that she received an e-mail from Ben White, Punx-sutawney borough manager, about emergency repairs to a sanitary sewer line scheduled to begin Monday at the intersection of Pine and North Findley streets.
PUNXSUTAWNEY — A Brookville man suffered moderate injuries following a motorcycle-versus-vehicle accident at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Dutchtown Road and Route 36/North Main Street.
Punxsutawney-based Pennsylvania State Police said Andrew M. Duncan, 35, Punxsy, was stopped at a stop sign at the Dutchtown Road and Route 36/North Main Street intersection, while Thomas E. Curry, 52, Brookville, was traveling north on a 2010 Harley-Davidson Street Glide.
Police said Duncan pulled into the intersection and into Curry’s path.
