Today's Groundhog Festival Schedule
10 a.m. to noon â Childrenâs Workshops: Settler-era childrenâs activities (ages six to 12) at the Lattimer House. Sponsored by Punxsutawney Historical Society.
10:30 to 11:30 a.m. â Kids Projects in the Park.
10:30 to 11:30 a.m. â Granpa Cratchet.
10:30 to 11 to a.m. â Registration for Diaper Derby (Crawling Babies) and for Tot Trot (12-18 months on padded course).
11 to 11:30 a.m. â Diaper Derby Race, followed by the Tot Trot Race.
10 to 11 a.m. â Carrie McQueen, Stilt Walking.
11:30 a.m. to noon â Balloons The Clown.
PUNXSUTAWNEY â The Punxsutawney Eagle Riders motorcycle club its revving up for its first-ever âBurrow Thunderâ Saturday.
The 76-mile trip â which will be held rain or shine â departs from the F.O. Eagles No. 1231 parking lot.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Special Olympics.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the ride departing at noon and returning by 5 p.m.
