April 3, 2015

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Francis J. Molinaro, 80, president of the Punxsutawney Area School Board, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015.

Punxsutawney Superintendent Dr. Keith Wolfe said that Molinaro’s leadership and participation on the school board will be truly missed by all.

"It's certainly a sad day for our district," Wolfe said. "Francis has served on our board for many years, and throughout that time, he has always kept in mind the best interest of the students. For years, he wanted to be board president, and with this last reorganization of the board, he became the board president."
