Library, First Church and PCS team up for ‘Whiter Than Snow’ exhibit

February 27, 2012

PUNXSUTAWNEY— Even though Punxsy hasn’t seen a lot of snow this winter, there were many children seen as “Whiter Than Snow” during a recent photo exhibition/fund-raiser for the Punxsutawney Christian School at the Punxsutawney Memorial Library recently.

The exhibition is called “Whiter Than Snow: A Prayer in Pictures,” said Karissa Spencer, children’s ministries director for the First Church of God in Punxsy.

Spencer said as part of the children’s ministries, the Sunday School staff taught youngsters the salvation message and what it means to be “Whiter Than Snow” in a spiritual sense.
