PUNXSUTAWNEY â€” Punxsutawney Borough Council voted at Monday's meeting not to accept PennDOT's traffic signal agreement for the new Margiotti Bridge.
Punxsutawney Borough Manager Ben White said that borough council was presented with Resolution 2014-6, a traffic signal agreement with PennDOT to accept responsibility for the proposed traffic signal once it is installed as part of the Margiotti Bridge replacement project.

The students coordinated a school-wide collection of items that could be given to inpatients at PAH.
Students collected more than 450 items, including puzzle books, stuffed animals, card games, office supplies and toys.
Mary L. Anderson, 81, Rossiter, died Sunday, June 8, 2014, at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.
She was born Nov. 26, 1932, in Porter Township, Jefferson County, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Myers) Boozer.
In 1953, she married Charles Anderson, Jr., who preceded her in death.
She attended Ss. Cosmas and Damian Roman Catholic Church of Punxsutawney.
She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, puzzle books, reading romance novels, and she was a member of the Book Nook.
She retired as a nurseâ€™s aide for Blose-McGregor Healthcare.
