UPDATE: Police looking for missing Walston woman, 36

UPDATE: State police on Tuesday issued a release saying that Gigliotti has been located.

Punxsutawney-based Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are seeking information regarding the whereabouts of a 36-year-old Walston woman.

Heather Dawn Gigliotti is described as approximately 5-feet-8-inches and 125 pounds, with green eyes and long blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing black shorts, a pink tank top over a white tank top and sandals.

Beatlemania featured at Groundhog Festival’s full first day; Tuesday's schedule

Monday was the first full day of events at the Groundhog Festival in Barclay Square, and it saw plenty of action, which was wrapped up by a performance by Beatlemania Magic, a national touring Beatles tribute band.

Community welcomes home Trooper Brad Wilson

If you were anywhere near town on Saturday around lunchtime, you couldn’t miss the thunder of motorcycles and other vehicles — escorted by numerous local officials — as the tribute ride to PSP Trooper Brad Wilson roared through Punxsutawney.

The ride was a part of a day full of festivities to welcome home
Wilson, who was seriously injured while executing a warrant on Sept. 26, 2013.

PACC annual 5K/2-mile walk set for Wednesday

The Punxsutawney Area Community Center (PACC) will hold its 19th annual 5K/2-mile walk in downtown Punxsy as part of the Groundhog Festival on
Wednesday.

Snyder’s career celebrated as he retires

Clay Snyder, the manager of the Punxsutawney branch of Marion Center Bank, retired after 37 years in the banking business, 14 of them with Marion Center Bank.

Members of the Punxsutawney Area Chamber of Commerce presented Snyder with a ceremonial rose bush for his rose garden.

Ryder H. Hamman, Coolspring, died Saturday, June 28, 2014.

He was born March 16, 2014, in DuBois, a son of Damon and Crystal (Boyer) Hamman.

In addition to his parents, surviving relatives include his maternal grandparents and great-grandparents; paternal grandparents and great-grandparents; two aunts and two uncles; great-aunts and uncles; and several cousins.

“There is no foot so small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world.”
