PUNXSUTAWNEY â Chrissy Clark is a familiar face. You may recognize her as one of the dental assistants at Punxsy Dental. Or perhaps you have seen her throughout the community.
Music in the Park kicked off Thursday evening with a performance by Chaps, a classic rock/country band. With a large crowd in attendance, the band rocked Barclay Square.
The next Music in the Park will be on July 10, with a performance by The Avenue, a classic rock band.
The ladies of Saints Peter & Paul Byzantine Church are shown here taking a break after cooking and cleaning to get ready for their church festival, which will be held Saturday evening from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Daniel Joseph Hopkins, 21, of Orange Park, Florida, was reunited with his Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at home with his mom by his side.
He was born Dec. 28, 1992, in Norfolk, Virginia.
Daniel had an incurable, rare brain disorder known as Neuro-degeneration Brain Iron Accumulation.
He graduated from his hospital bed last month from Middleburg High School.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Emory (Joe) Helsel; and his great-grandparents Clarence and Anna Hopkins and Donald and Ruby Reagle.
Raymond Richard Barrineau, 55, of Rochester Mills, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Family Hospice and Palliative Care in Pittsburgh.
He was born on July 15, 1958, in Audubon, New Jersey, a son of Richard Eugene Barrineau of Jacksonville, Florida, and Henrietta "Honey"(Blankenship) Wolfe and husband Harry of Rochester Mills.
On Nov. 27, 1986, he married Elizabeth Ann Albertson. She survives and resides in Rochester Mills.
Byrtha L. âByrtâ Smathers, 95, Punxsutawney, died Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Penn Highlands Healthcare, DuBois.
She was born Oct. 8, 1918, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Olie and Gillen (Bastine) Amundson.
She married W. William âBillâ Smathers, on March 22, 1951. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1994.
She was the first manager of the Mahoning Towers for 23 years and retired from there at the age of 83.
She managed the YMCA and will be remembered for organizing the YAR dances in the early â70s.
