Cressley’s road to her own practice opens doorway to new journey with Samaritan

March 24, 2014

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Heidi Cressley's journey to serving the community she lives in through counseling its members saw its beginnings in two things: the gentle nudging from others that she'd be good at it and the fact that a mental health issue had played a role in her family's history.

Now, as an independent counselor with her own practice — operating out of an office located in the First Church of God in Punxsutawney and through Sewickley-based Samaritan Counseling Center — Cressley can put her gifts to use serving those in need of help with their own
mental health issues.
