The race will be held at 9 a.m. this Saturday, beginning at the softball field in DeLancey (also known as Adrian).

Those who came out to Music in the Park on Thursday night in Barclay Square were greeted by some nice, cooler weather and a pair of acts ready to entertain.

Donald W. Buffington, 79, of Winter Haven, Fla., passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at The Heart of Florida Hospital after enduring a courageous 10-year battle with cancer.
He was formerly of Cogan Station, Pa.
He was born on May 25, 1934, in Beaver Township, Pa., the son of Dalton and Mary (Burkett) Buffington.
Donald was the husband of Elizabeth (Betty) Buffington. They would have observed their 59th wedding anniversary on Sept. 16, 2013.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Tank Division of the 29th Infantry at Fort Benning, Ga., from 1955 to 1957.
