PUNXSUTAWNEY — Punxsutawney Borough Council rejected the two bids it received for the 1981 Mack Fire Engine that had belonged to the Elk Run Volunteer Fire Company.

Council passed a motion to reject the two bids, one of $1,216.61 from Jeffrey A. Stauffer, Felton, and a second bid of $875.57 from Robert Zercher, DuBois.
