Barbara Ann âBobbyâ (Passmore) Yeager, 80, of Punxsutawney, and formerly of Clearfield, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
The daughter of the late Cecil L. and Cecelia (Ross) Passmore, she was born on Feb. 17, 1932, in Clearfield.
Mrs. Yeager was a graduate of Clearfield High School and enjoyed attending her class reunions.
She married Edison C. Yeager on Oct. 17, 1955.
A homemaker, she had also been employed as a shirt presser and a hospital housekeeper.
In 1984, Barbara retired from the Troy Laundry in Idaho.
Joseph Bryan Lukehart, 43, Covington, K.Y., died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in Punxsutawney.
He was born Aug. 27, 1969, in New Orleans, La., a son of J. Kipp Lukehart and Sharyn âShugâ (McLaughlin) Lukehart.
He was married to Molly (Godfrey) Lukehart, who survives.
He was an avid sports fan and golfer.
He loved his family and was a kind and caring person.
He graduated from Punxsutawney Area High School and attended Westminster College.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Lindsay and Meagan Lukehart.

DuBOIS â All athletic teams work hard and want their opportunity to be successful, gain notoriety and claim championships. Through the years, the high school cheerleading ranks have always seen their members work as hard on their cheers, dances, stunts and tumbles as any of the other athletic teams on campus.
In Pennsylvania, the cheerleading teams, though, were always listed as having to be consider an âother categoryâ of sport. The cheer squads never had their chance for due honors and district and state title acclaim.
SLIPPERY ROCK â Every road starts somewhere. The road to âThe Showâ has many routes, turns, stops and bumps to get to it. Punxsy has another potential âBig Leaguerâ ready to start his own road next fall on a not-so-distant collegiate baseball diamond.
Slippery Rock University has inked Punxsyâs Ty Zimmerman as a member of its Rock baseball team next season.
âWe are excited to get him,â commented Slippery Rockâs head baseball coach Jeff Messer. âHe is the first player we have had from Punxsutawney with its rich tradition of baseball players coming out of there.â
Each year, five women are chosen by the Punxsutawney Career Womenâs Club for Career Womenâs Week. The criteria used for choosing these women are based not only on their professional efforts, but also on the contributions theyâve made to community and family. The club was founded in 1930, originally known as Punxsutawney Business & Professional Womenâs Club. On Sept.
YOUNG TOWNSHIP â The old legend has it that Don Quixote used to tilt at windmills, but today, there are many more people who are installing them for another reason â as an alternative energy source.
Such is the case at the Plantation Bed and Breakfast on Route 119 in Young Township.
"My son, Jesse Branken, came home from college in June, and he had suggested putting up windmills at Plantation Bed and Breakfast in order to save on electricity," said Julie Branken, owner of the popular bed and breakfast.
