HERSHEY — After taking not only one, but both District IX titles, the Punxsy boys' and girls' cross country teams were given the royal treatment as they headed out of Punxsutawney on Friday morning. The two squads will test their mettle against the best of the Pennsylvania's AA ranks today at Hershey's Parkview Cross Country Course adjacent to Hershey Park.
LOYSBURG – With the changing of quarters, so went the changing of the Punxsy Chucks' football fortunes on Friday night. Leading 21-14 after the first 36 minutes of action, Punxsy managed only 37 fourth-quarter yards and committed two turnovers, on which Northern Bedford capitalized for the game-winning points and a 27-21 home victory.
