Chucks dominate Lions, roll to 41-7 gridiron victory

October 6, 2012

PUNXSUTAWNEY – Favored to soundly defeat their opponent, the Punxsy Chucks did just that as they dominated the Clarion-Limestone Lions from the opening moments to roll to a 41-7 victory Friday night at Jack F. LaMarca Stadium.

“It was very important to come out and play the way we did,” said Chucks head coach Alan Nichol. “Clarion-Limestone had a good game plan. They ran after our run-ning backs, and we had some tough sledding inside.”

“We prepared for it and kept hanging in there, and we came out alright,” Nichol added.
