BROOKVILLE â Local firefighters responded to a blaze that broke out at about 10 a.m. Tuesday at Plyler's At Your Service Garage in Brookville.
Located at 9 Race St., the garage was a total loss by the time the flames subsided.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire had yet to be determined at Spirit press time, but Fire Chief Jim Lipuma indicated that it was currently believed to have been accidental.
There was one injury reported in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 8 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Route 119 and Route 310 in Punxsutawney.
According to Punxsutawney Borough Police, a 1988 Plymouth driven by Brandi Brady, 31, Punxsutawney, was traveling north on Route 119 and turned into the path of a 2002 Ford pickup truck driven by Crist Troyer Jr., 57, Marion Center, who was traveling south.
Troyer struck Brady's vehicle, spinning it completely around. Brady was taken by Jefferson County EMS to Punxsutawney Area Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Harold Randall "Randy" Vaughn, 54, Punxsutawney, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 31, 1957, in Phillipsburg, a son of Harold E. Vaughn, who survives, and the late Jennie Mae (Goss) Vaughn.
Harold was last employed as a diesel mechanic at Krise Bus Co. and was previously employed by Laidlaw Bus Co.
Harold, or Randy, as many have known him, touched many lives, including those of his family, co-workers and students on the buses he used to drive.
His life's journey led him to helping all people as much as he could; wherever he could.
