James S. "Jim" Trunzo, 70, died peacefully at home surrounded by family July 2, 2011. 

He was born July 22, 1940, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Francis J. Trunzo, MD, and Catherine (Kernan) Trunzo of Punxsutawney.

He was married to Jerry Frances (Carter) Trunzo, who survives.

Mr. Trunzo was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War. 

He served his country with the U.S.N. Mobile Construction Battalion, MCB-7 (the Seabees), from 1962 to 1967.
