Timothy Dean Sheriff, 51, Punxsutawney, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at home.
He was born Jan. 3, 1959, in Punxsutawney, a son of Ronald Sheriff of DuBois and Mrs. John (Gladys Carr) Oaks of Punxsutawney.
Mr. Sheriff was employed at NAC Carbon Products in Elk Run.
He was a member of the Punxsutawney Eagles Club.
He adored his daughter, Carrie Sheriff of Bradford, whom he loved very much.
Patricia Perry, 63, of Georgia, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center, Punxsutawney.
She was born June 21, 1947, in St. Petersburg, Fla., a daughter of the late Raymond B. and Charlotte L. (Perry) Tucker.
Ms. Perry was survived by Lloyd A. Pope of Georgia, two sons, David G. Pope and Daniel A. Pope, all of Georgia; a daughter, June A. Wells and husband Don of Punxsutawney; two grandchildren, Angel Wells and Harley Wells; and two great-grandchildren, Aidan West and Baily West.
Eunice S. Miller, 97, Mahaffey, passed away Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at Mahoning Riverside Manor, Punxsutawney.
She was born Dec. 19, 1912, in Westover, a daughter of the late William L. and Martha (Rainey) Smith.
Mrs. Miller was married to Dr. D. Edgar Miller, who preceded her in death Dec. 21, 1990.
She assisted her husband, who practiced dentistry in Mahaffey, by scheduling appointments and assisted him in dental exams of students in the various school districts.
Margaret āMargeā (Bell) Marshall, 86, Mahaffey, formerly of Indiana County, passed away Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
She was born Nov. 10, 1924, in Kerrmoor, a daughter of the late Leslie W. and Katherine (Dotts) Bell.
In 1947, she married Jack L. Marshall, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Marshall was an IUP graduate of the nursing program and served during World War II as a Navy WAVE.
She owned and operated Margeās Restaurant in Burnside for more than 25 years.
Miriam Arlene Maloney, 87, Punxsutawney, passed away Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at her home.
She was born Dec. 18, 1922, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Harry and Rita (Andre) Hippchen.
Mrs. Maloney was married to John F. Maloney, who preceded her in death March 12, 1994.
She was co-owner of the Elk Run Sunoco and a member of St. Peterās United Church of Christ, Punxsutawney.
Mrs. Maloney loved her grandchildren and traveling with her family.
Joseph R. Gigliotti, 86, Walston, passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at his home.
He was born July 9, 1924, in Walston, a son of the late Frank and Mary Gigliotti.
Nov. 8, 1947, he married Mary Jane (Astorino) Gigliotti, who preceded him in death Dec. 2, 2003.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army in European, African, Middle Eastern and Asiatic Operations.
Mr. Gigliotti was a member of St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church.
Phyllis Jean Anderson, 79, Pembroke Pines, Fla., passed away Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, in Hollywood, Fla.
She was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Fred and Mildred (Miller) Lippart.
Mrs. Anderson was married to Donald E. Anderson, who preceded her in death July 1, 2005.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Valier United Methodist Church.
Margaret I. Pearce (Watson), 80, Mentor, Ohio, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at Lake Med Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Painesville.
She was born Oct. 6, 1930, in Glen Campbell, a daughter of the late George and Ethel Watson.
Mrs. Pearce was married to Ray C. Pearce, who preceded her in death.
She was a factory worker at Mentor Plastics for many years.
Mrs. Pearce was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who especialy loved spending time with her family.
